UPPER SCHOOL

The upper school at Riverside Battersea is a Montessori nursery for children aged three and over, entering the pre-school phase of their nursery education.

The Montessori approach aims to achieve the correct balance of physical, social and intellectual stimulation, allowing children to develop confidently at their own pace. The programme is fully intertwined with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Click here for more details.

We use specific Montessori materials to support this learning and our aim is that on leaving us aged five, a child is fully prepared for their infant or prep-school learning phase.
